Hi, I'm Dr. Amina Pratt-Eugene. I'm a wife, mother of two, and board-certified Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician. Like many mothers, I know how easy it is to spend your days caring for everyone else while neglecting your own health and well-being. After experiencing burnout myself—and seeing the same exhaustion in so many of my patients—I realized that far too many mothers are carrying burdens they were never meant to carry alone. We live in a culture that celebrates self-sacrifice but rarely makes space for rest, renewal, and restoration. I founded A Place for Moms Wellness to create the kind of healthcare I longed for: a medical home where mothers feel seen, heard, valued, and genuinely cared for. Inspired by Christ's invitation to the weary, my mission is to help mothers rediscover the beauty of motherhood through healing, restoration, and whole-person care. Motherhood was never intended to be carried alone—and I'm honored to be part of your village.
